Led Zeppelin – IV

The untitled fourth studio album by the rock band Led Zeppelin, commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV, was released in November 1971 by Atlantic Records and was produced by guitarist Jimmy Page.

My copy of this album still has the plastic on it and the gatefold has never been opened. When I first got this album I heard “Black Dog” and I was WOW this is definitely Zeppelin. I’m sure everyone knows the song “Stairway to Heaven” as it is classic now.

When I first listened to the entire album some of the quieter songs weren’t heavy enough for me at the time. However I love all the songs on this album.

You gotta have it in your collection …. even digital!

Robert Plant – Pictures at Eleven

Pictures at Eleven is the debut solo album by Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, released in 1982. Phil Collins drummer from Genesis played drums for six of the album’s songs. Former Rainbow drummer Cozy Powell handled drums on “Slow Dancer” and “Like I’ve Never Been Gone.”

When I first bought this album I thought it would sound like a Zeppelin album. The voice was there however the music was softer than I expected. This is an excellent album just don’t expect it sound like Robert Plants former band. There is hints of the Zeppelin sound.

Led Zeppelin – The Song Remains The Same

The Song Remains the Same is a live soundtrack album of the concert film of the same name by the rock band Led Zeppelin. The album was originally released in October 1976.

Excellent live album especially “Dazed and Confused” with Jimmy Page on guitar with the violin bow.

Led Zepplin – The Song Remains The Same

The Song Remains the Same is the live soundtrack album by Led Zeppelin. The album was originally released in October 1976, before being remastered and reissued in 2007. The reissued 2007 has some different songs on it.

This is an excellent live album from Led Zepplin, I played this on my turntable just today. This is a two record set that I have had since 1976.

Led Zepplin – Physical Graffiti

I was listening to this double album on my turntable while I was on the treadmill recouping from my open heart surgery. Listening to music while exercising makes the time fly by.

Physical Graffiti is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released as a double album on 24 February 1975.

Physical Graffiti went 16x platinum in the US in 2006, signifying shipments of eight million copies, and was a number one album in both the US and UK.
