2001: a space odyssey – Music from the Motion Picture Sound Track

2001: A Space Odyssey is a soundtrack album of the film with the same name, released in 1968. The soundtrack is known for its use of many classical and orchestral pieces.

If you’ve ever seen the movie you will relate to this soundtrack and appreciate it. I’m a rock fan however this album sent chills down my spine. The movie was a Stanley Kubrick production.

Foo Fighters – Back and Fourth documentary

Excellent documentary showing the struggles of putting band members together that are compatible with each other. Interesting to watch where all these musicians came from.

Must watch!

Janis: Little Girl Blue

Janis: Little Girl Blue is a 2015 documentary film directed by Amy J. Berg about the American singer-songwriter Janis Joplin.

Great rockumentary on the life of Janis Joplin. The best part about this rockumentary is when Janis goes back home for her 10th anniversary school reunion. She was famous at that time and I’m guessing she wanted to rub it in.

I have the album Pearl in the basement which is the last album made by Janis. It was released just a few months after her death.
