Black Sabbath – Master of Reality

220px-Black_Sabbath_-_Master_of_Reality

Ozzie, Tommy, Geezer and Bill from Black Sabbath do it again with this album that was released in 1971. The same heavy, loud sound from Sabbath is very evident on this album as well as some very light sounds.

My top three picks for this album are: Sweet Leaf, Children of the Grave and Lord of this World.

Here is a list of the remaining songs: After Forever, Embryo, Orchid, Solitude and Into The Void (this one should be in the top three …. was very close).

Sabbath had a huge impact on my musical tastes at the time. I basically ditched Elvis, The Beatles and Country Music for the loud and heavy sound. I do respect the Beatles now, especially their later albums.

If anyone out there wants to let me know their picks it would be greatly appreciated.

Later.
